This was the first book nook I ever built. I had purchased a couple of book nooks for my book nerd friends that both had birthdays in August but chose this one because I had just returned from my first trip to Paris. It sat at my house too long and I ended up building it myself and had to buy another one to actually give to my friend. The kit was easy to assemble and had minimal gluing to do, mostly just the plastic pieces like the plants plus the items on the front steps. Since the kit didn't come with glue, I just grabbed the Super Glue gel I already had. Only mildly regretted this choice. Great build quality, easy to slot the pieces together, and extremely enjoyable as a first build!
